… e se un milanese ti raccontasse Milano?

How do “Milanese” live their own city? Where do they go to buy a cool present, eat the best risotto, have breakfast? How do they intertwine history and innovation, tradition and modernity? What to they usually cook and drink? How do they find out the new spots, the new trends, the most interesting exhibits? How and where do they shop? Which is their favourite market? the boutique of the moment? the newest art galleries? Who are their friends? What do they talk about, drinking an espresso or having a glass of wine? How do they live virtues and values of the city? amaMI receives people coming from far away and makes them feel at home, converts tourists into travelers, travelers in “Milanese”.

Combines art and food, shopping and music, design and fashion, architecture and entertainment, reality and literature. Taylors the itineraries to your own needs, alternates the classical paths to the secret ones, the “musts” you can’t miss to the novelties about to blossom. It guides you among streets and squares, monuments and shops, past and future of a city always on the move. And turns your stay in a story, ready to be told.

There is no formal cost! Every traveller can decide what his / her “milanese story” is worth.

About us…

amaMI is a movement of professionals who believe in beauty, in the pleasure of being together, in the importance of getting to know things from the inside and in the art of sharing what they have learned.

Anna Bartoli Milanese designer and architect, she lives in Monza, the royal suburb. She loves to understand and create objects and to travel to faraway countries: every time she comes back, she discovers Milano under a different light.
Anna Fabro  Genovese architect, she has been adopted by Milano twenty years ago and never left it. Driven by her curiosity, she moves around the city as if it was the first time.
Alessandra Mascaretti  Editor and ghost-writer, she flew into Milano from São Paulo still a little girl and found it small, welcoming and four-seasoned. Full of stories to tell.
Carlo Saulle  Born and grown up in Milano, he is an architect keen on history. Yachtsman, biker, almost artist, he can’t walk around town for more than five minutes without meeting someone he knows.
Marco Zung  Expert in graphic design and visual communication, he left his heart among the Alps but his life is fully milanese. He drew a wonderful map of Milano, to be used as a map of treasures.
